On January 2, 2020<\/em>, Pittman<\/em>, who was picking up food from Jessie Bell\u2019s Soul Food<\/strong> on East Vernon Avenue in Kinston<\/strong><\/a>, was violently struck in the head three times with a metal baseball bat by an unknown assailant attempting to steal her car.<\/span><\/p>\n
