A man disguised as a UPS<\/em> delivery<\/a> driver, brandished a fake package, and forcefully entered a home, resulting in the tragic deaths of three individuals, according to The Associated Press.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The shooting occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. on January 26, 2024<\/em>, in Coon Rapids<\/em>, as per the Anoka County<\/em> Sheriff’s office. Law enforcement responded<\/a> to an open-line 911<\/a> call with sounds of disturbance in the background. Upon arrival at the residence, they discovered three people shot dead.<\/span><\/p>\n

The victims were identified as Shannon Patricia Jungwirth<\/strong><\/a>, 42, her son Jorge Alexander Reyes-Jungwirth<\/strong>, 20, and her husband Mario Alberto Trejo Estrada<\/strong>, 39.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the incident, 37-year-old Alonzo Pierre Mingo<\/strong><\/a> was apprehended and charged with three counts of second-degree murder. Surveillance footage from the home depicted Alonzo<\/strong> dressed in a UPS<\/em> uniform, carrying a box as if making a delivery.<\/span><\/p>\n

The video also showed Alonzo<\/strong> holding a man at gunpoint and later taking Shannon<\/strong> back into a bedroom where she was fatally shot.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the arrest, authorities recovered the UPS<\/a> attire and cardboard box used in the crimes. A UPS<\/em> spokesperson confirmed that Alonzo<\/strong> had been a seasonal employee for a brief period until mid-January<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

As per reports from NBC affiliate KARE<\/a>, search warrants revealed that Estrado<\/strong> was allegedly running a drug operation from his residence, funneling the proceeds to his relatives in Mexico<\/em>. Additionally, a storage unit linked to Estrada<\/strong> was discovered to contain a variety of illicit substances, including magic mushrooms, marijuana, meth, and an unidentified “white powder.”<\/span><\/p>\n
