Kodak Black files motion to dismiss drug charges claiming the pills found in his car were Tylenol

Word On The Curb…Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, is fighting the drug charges he currently faces stemming from a traffic stop in July 2022. He claims that the pills police found in his car were actually Tylenol and not Oxycodone.

According to online reports, Bradford Cohen, attorney for Kodak, recently filed a motion for the judge to dismiss the fake drug case. Cohen argued that the 31 pills found inside Kodak’s car were Tylenol, not Oxycodone as officers falsely claimed.

At the time, the Florida Highway Patrol spotted an SUV with illegally dark tinted windows.

During the traffic stop, online reports said that officers smelled marijuana coming from the car and conducted a search. Officers reportedly found a bag with 31 white tablets inside and nearly $75,000 in cash.

Kodak was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance and another count for trafficking oxycodone.

In a motion to dismiss, Cohen informed the courts that the pills had been analyzed and the test results confirmed that they were Tylenol, an over-the-counter pain reliever.

According to Kodak’s lawyer, the pills were destroyed during the testing process, and officials never provided a report,despite the results proving them to be Tylenol.

If true, hopefully this case will be thrown out for ‘Super Gremlin’ rapper.
