A Mother’s Day brawl at Golden Corral in Greensboro, North Carolina, is making headlines after a chaotic fight between two women near the restaurant’s entrance was caught on camera and went viral on social media.
The incident unfolded at the Golden Corral on Landview Drive, where crowds gathered to celebrate the holiday. One of the family members involved in the altercation told The North Carolina Beat that their group was “three cars deep,” including 10 children and six adults, trying to secure their place in line. Due to a full parking lot, her husband dropped them off at the front entrance.
What Sparked the Mother’s Day Brawl at Golden Corral in Greensboro?
The woman, who did not want to be named, said the brawl started after Geneva King, a woman seen in the video wearing a dress, allegedly became irritated by their large party joining the line at different times.

“The line is already long and they keep bringing people in line in front of us,” King was reportedly overheard saying.
The family member said she ignored King at first, knowing that her husband was footing the bill for the entire party and that everyone had to catch up anyway.
“I wasn’t even trippin’ on the lady because I knew my husband was paying for everyone, so either way it goes, everybody with us was going to have to catch up with us anyway because their food was paid for, she told The North Carolina Beat.
Tensions escalated when King allegedly extended her arm in an attempt to block other family members from entering. The situation became heated, and the verbal exchange between King and another woman—identified by The North Carolina Beat as Danielle Lowe, the woman wearing black—quickly turned physical.

According to the family member, King allegedly asked Lowe, “Who raised you?” That remark, according to the family member, pushed Lowe over the edge and she threw the first punch. However, King retaliated and could be seen in the viral footage tossing Lowe “like a ceiling fan across the floor.”
The North Carolina Beat reached out to Geneva King for her side of the story, but she did not respond. We also attempted to contact Danielle Lowe, but she was unavailable at the time of publication.
