Chicago girl who jumped a mom is suddenly sorry — but folks say she’s only apologizing because the camera caught her.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS– A little Chicago girl who with others, attacked a mother while she was walking from school with her son and daughter is now wanting to apologize — and the internet believes it’s only because she got caught.

The Chicago teen who hit a mother issues a shaky apology, but critics say she’s only sorry because the viral video exposed her true behavior.

The 8th grader, who had a smirk on her face before she seemingly had to get serious, said she apologized for being a “follower.” She and others could be seen kicking and punching 33-year-old Carshawnda Hatter in the face and dragging her to the grass.

Chicago mom Carshawnda Hatter speaks out after she and her son were jumped near Orville Bright Elementary.

“I want to apologize for everything that I did, and I was just being a follower, following everybody who don’t even got nothing that I got, and I apologize for everything,” the crybaby said. “Because I wouldn’t want to be in that situation.”

Viral video shows a Chicago 8th grader hitting a mom walking home with her kids.

The girl was surrounded by women who obviously didn’t teach her to respect her elders or how to treat her peers. The girl said she doesn’t want people to think she’s somebody she’s not…

Another woman chimed in, saying that although the video is circulating, she wants people to know the provoker is a child.

“She understands what is going on, and I don’t expect her to speak, we don’t expect her to speak, because she’s a child,” the woman said.

Another woman also brought up that the child was a so-called “model student,” and the girl claimed she gets A’s and B’s, was the homecoming queen, and is the captain of the cheerleading team. She claimed she’s a better person than yesterday, and that she can “make a difference.”

Meanwhile, social media has declined to accept the apology — with many saying she’s only apologizing because the video went viral and exposed her behavior.
