A former employee of the Cookout restaurant on South Horner Boulevard in Sanford, North Carolina, has taken to social media to expose the restaurant for having roaches following what appears to be her termination from the establishment.

In the Facebook post, Jaydeign Reynolds expressed her frustrations, writing, “Let’s really talk about it since y’all wanna fire people for no reason!” Reynolds shared disturbing photos and a video of what she claimed to be roaches inside of the milkshake machine at the restaurant, warning customers about potential health risks.

“If you have been to the Cookout on 1907 S Horner Blvd and have bought milkshakes, this is what the inside of the shake machine looks like,” Reynolds stated in her post. “I just want all of you to know, in case you have ever gotten sick, this is the reason why.”

Reynolds alleged that the fast-food joint only replaced the machine after its poor condition became a talking issue, saying, “They did buy a new one, but they only got a new one because of the situation rate.”

In her post, Reynolds also accused the restaurant’s management of neglecting food safety standards. She claimed that hamburger patties were stored in a cooler that failed to maintain the proper temperature, saying,“They wasn’t even keeping the hamburger meat at the right temperature.”
