Garner couple accused of producing child porn, videos showed couple engaged in sex acts with a child under 5

Authorities in Garner, North Carolina have apprehended a married couple and charged them with producing child pornography.

The couple, 34-year-old Darryl Edwin Foley and his 31-year-old wife, Carmen Delia Foley, are facing multiple child sex offenses. Darryl was initially arrested in January and faced 10 counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor.

According to Darryl’s arrest warrant, his victims were children aged between one and 12 years old. The evidence was presented to a grand jury, resulting in an indictment for these abhorrent crimes.

As for Carmen, she was arrested on Thursday and charged with three counts of first-degree exploitation of a minor and two counts of statutory sex offense with a child by an adult.

Warrants revealed that in September 2023, police traced three videos containing child pornography to an IP address linked to Darryl. This information provided the police with probable cause to search Darryl’s residence. Inside the home, investigators discovered files on the couple’s devices showing Darryl and Carmen engaging in sexual acts with a girl under 5 years old, as per the search warrants.

Darryl is currently in custody on a $450,000 bond, while his wife is being held on a $3 million bond.
