Keith Kinsley, a Goldsboro chiropractor, is being held without bond after facing serious charges involving a minor, with a judge calling him a potential danger to other children.
GOLDSBORO, N.C. — The North Carolina Beat has learned that a Goldsboro chiropractor is in jail facing serious charges involving a minor, and a judge says he’s too dangerous to be released under any conditions.
According to court records, 59-year-old Keith Steven Kinsley has been arrested and charged with indecent liberties with a child under the age of 16.
Authorities say the alleged incident dates back to Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, though the warrant itself does not go into detail about what allegedly occurred. However, it does say that Kinsley “did take and attempt to take immoral, improper, and indecent liberties for the purpose of arousing and gratifying sexual desire.”
Kinsley, who is listed as living on Creek Run Drive in Goldsboro, was taken into custody Monday. He is currently being held in jail without bond.
JUDGE: “POTENTIAL DANGER TO OTHER MINORS”
What’s raising even more concern in this case is what was written in the bond conditions.
According to official court documents, the judge noted serious concerns about Kinsley’s history, writing that there was an “admission of inappropriate sexual behavior to law enforcement over the course of 20+ years.”
The judicial official further stated that Kinsley is believed to pose a potential danger to other minors, regardless of any protection orders that could be put in place.
Because of that, the court determined that:
- No release conditions would reasonably ensure the safety of the public
- There is concern about possible witness intimidation, including the victim’s mother, who is also identified as the defendant’s wife
- There is risk of evidence tampering or influencing testimony
As a result, a rebuttable presumption was established that Kinsley should remain in custody.
STRICT NO-CONTACT ORDER ISSUED
The judge also issued a strict order prohibiting Kinsley from having any contact whatsoever with the alleged victim and any minors inside the home.
The order applies in any form — direct or indirect — while the case is pending.
Court documents confirm that the no-bond order was upheld by Judge Minshew on April 7, 2026.

Kinsley is identified as a chiropractor affiliated with The Betterment Center, located on East Mulberry Street in Goldsboro.
