Leinbach Park Shooting Arrests Reach 5: Two More Teens Charged as Adults in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Leinbach Park shooting arrests have now reached five people after Winston-Salem police charged two additional teenagers as adults. Greidy Mendoza-Soriano, 16, and Karissa Gamez, 16, were each charged on Monday, April 27 with felony inciting a riot and inciting a riot resulting in death.

These bring the total charged individuals to five:

• Joel Michael Gamble-Toliver, 18: Facing upgraded charges including engaging in a riot resulting in death and inciting a riot resulting in death (plus other riot-related felonies). A prior child abuse charge was dropped. Held without bond.
