Mother Alleges Jacksonville Teacher Manley Moore Sent Inappropriate TikTok Messages To 14-Year-Old
A popular TikTok teacher in Jacksonville, North Carolina, is facing serious questions after a mother came forward with screenshots of what she says were inappropriate private messages between her 14-year-old daughter and the teacher.
The teacher, identified as Manley Moore, reportedly teaches business at Northwoods Park Middle School in Jacksonville. He is also the youth pastor at Marshall Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on Marshall Chapel Road.
Mother Claims Moore Sent Inappropriate Messages
A mother told The North Carolina Beat that she was doing a routine check of her daughter’s phone when she stumbled across disturbing messages that Moore had sent to her minor daughter through TikTok private messages.
He has since deleted his TikTok that had over 200K followers.
The mother, who asked to remain anonymous, showed us 22 screenshots of text exchanges between Moore and the 14-year-old. In some of those messages, Moore allegedly asked the child to delete their text thread.
He also referred to the child as a “Baddie” and at one point asked, “Can I tell you something?” but then followed up with, “Lol no cause you might screenshot me and be like look what Mr. Moore told me.”
The child responded that she wouldn’t screenshot, but Moore insisted that he wasn’t worried about that — he was worried about her running her mouth to everyone. She told him she didn’t talk to anyone. He replied, “Lol yeah you do,” and she answered, “Not no more. Everyone weird.”
“I’ll just say you’re the tea!” Moore said in another message.
The teen replied, “That had 2 meanings sir, which one… someone starts drama and someone is fine shyt.”
“Oh! Both then,” Moore responded.
In another message, Moore told the 14-year-old she would “fit in in Atlanta” with how she looks and her personality. When she said she couldn’t tell if that was a good or bad thing, Moore responded, “A good thing. All the baddies are in Atlanta.”
The messages reportedly began in July over the summer. In one message on July 15 at 8:35 p.m., Moore texted the teen:
“Thanks for keeping me company last night.”
She replied, “For sure unc.”
Moore responded, “Lol dang my bad. I just wanted to make sure. You could’ve been calling me fine a or something.”
He also replied to her TikTok stories. In one, he wrote: “Girl put your tongue in your mouth.” She said, “Yes sir.” He replied, “Good girl,” but claimed it wasn’t meant “in a weird way.”
Flirtatious Comments Allegedly Continued
In another text on July 19 at 8:55 p.m., the 14-year-old told Moore she was back in the gym. He asked:
“If I compliment you, you gonna tell on me?”
She replied, “No??”
Moore then said, “Keep up the good work lol.”
When she said, “I will dww,” Moore replied, “You don’t need it tho.”
The teen said she needed to look like a “Coke bottle.” Moore responded:
“Nah you pressure.”
She said, “Thank you.” He followed with, “I’m serious. And I’m fine before I say something crazy. Forgive me.”
The teen replied that he was always forgiven. Moore then said, “And please delete.”
More Allegations From August Messages
On August 4, Moore allegedly asked the teen if she told someone he gave her an inappropriate comment. She said no. He replied, “You sure?” She answered yes and asked what was said. Moore responded that he wasn’t sure but was asking because “someone said I told a student an inappropriate comment.”
As the conversation went on, Moore said he only messaged her on TikTok and didn’t remember saying anything “weird.”
On August 14, the teen told Moore she didn’t know how many students he was messaging but he should stop because “multiple girls” were talking about it. Moore denied messaging other girls, saying he only texted her and one other girl to send her pictures from school.

According to Moore’s teacher profile on Northwoods Park Middle School’s website, he wrote that he and his wife Jessica have been married for 10 years and share three children.
He also stated that he serves as a CTE teacher at the school and graduated from Elizabeth City State University in 2011.
The mother of the 14-year-old shared with us that Northwoods Park Middle has been dodging their calls and refuse to call them back regarding answers to questions they have about Moore messaging their daughter.
The North Carolina Beat reached out to Principal Shanta Cooks for a statement regarding the allegations. No response has been received as of this publication.
