A woman from Kinston, North Carolina, appeared to be happy after allegedly stabbing a man in the neck last Sunday, as seen in her mugshot taken after her arrest.
Just after 2 a.m., the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 1600 block of Bonnie Lane in response to a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found 36-year-old Kendra Sash Edmondson and arrested her for allegedly stabbing 31-year-old Jaquez Rasheem Herring.
According to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, Edmondson stabbed Herring in the right side of his neck. Herring was taken to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.
Edmondson was transported to the Lenoir County Magistrate’s Office and charged with attempted first-degree murder.
Edmondson has since bonded out, according to people who know her.
