A Ring camera video positioned in the corner of a front porch in Atlanta recorded the moment when a man shot and killed 32-year-old Courtney Reese instantly.
Reese was identified as the shooting victim on Wednesday, as reported by 11Alive in Atlanta. Police stated that the incident occurred on Springside Drive, located south of Cleveland Avenue, with the road leading to Browns Mill Road in southeast Atlanta, on Tuesday night.
How did Courtney Reese die?
Atlanta police arrived at the scene around 9 p.m and attempted to perform life-saving measures on Reese, but she succumbed to her injuries. The video, which has surfaced online, shows the tragic event. In the footage, a tall man dressed in all-white or gray, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, approaches Reese, who is outside a home.

In the video, Reese can be heard pleading, “Please. I don’t…” as she begs the man, who then raises a gun and shoots her at close range. At least 10 shots were fired, including as Reese fell to the ground as the suspect fled on foot.

Family believe suspect is an ex of Courtney Reese

No suspects have been publicly identified in the shooting, but according to 11Alive, Reese’s family believes that the man she had previously been involved with is responsible for her death. She leaves behind four children: three daughters aged 13, 9, and 6, and an 11-year-old son.
