A 25-year-old Raleigh man, Jhensen Luis Cruz-Arroyo, faces charges after allegations of engaging in inappropriate acts with his 5-year-old daughter. Police arrested Cruz-Arroyo on March 4, and he remains in custody without bond at the Wake County Jail.
According to police warrants obtained by The North Carolina Beat, the alleged offense occurred on December 8, 2024. The warrants detail that Cruz-Arroyo allegedly put his mouth on his Sex acts with child daughter’s vaginal area.

Cruz-Arroyo was charged with statutory offense with a child by an adult and felony child abuse, including sexual acts.
In a January motion for emergency custody, the child’s mother, Angie Gonzalez, informed the court that on December 13, 2024, their 5-year-old daughter returned from Cruz-Arroyo’s house with a rash in her genital area. Angie stated that she took her daughter to the doctor, where medical tests confirmed she was positive for herpes (HSV-1) and chlamydia. The report says the 5-year-old “confessed” that her father sexually abused her.
